Pastors Glenn & Bonita grew strong in the Faith message in the late 1970s at Lakewood Church in Houston, Texas. Pastor Glenn was actively involved in the Praise and Worship band, was a faithful prayer partner, and interned in their Pastor program. Pastor Bonita volunteered her time in the church office, sound room, and was also a faithful prayer partner. In 1978, Bonita was led by the Holy Spirit into full-time ministry, teaching and singing at Bible studies, Women’s Aglow, and other named ministries around the Houston, Texas area. Eventually, she moved to and began teaching Bible studies in Duncan, Oklahoma. Upon commission of the Holy Spirit and the leadership of Pastor John Osteen of Lakewood Church, she continued on to establish Word of Faith Church in Duncan, which later became what is now Rivers of Life Family Church International Ministries, Inc. Pastor Glenn also, eventually resigned from his supervising position in drafting at Brown & Root in Houston, Texas and moved to Duncan, in 1982 to serve as Praise and Worship leader and help in the ministry.
Pastors Glenn and Bonita McGee were married in 1985, and since then, have raised two daughters of their own, Hadassah Joy McGee and Rebekah Edwards. Hadassah is a 2010 graduate of Oral Roberts University. She serves at Rivers as the Office Manager, Pastor’s Assistant , and Teacher of the Word. Rebekah is a 2010 graduate of Rhema Bible Training Center. She and her husband, John-Marc Edwards, have two boys, Liam Glenn & Finnley Joseph. John-Marc and Rebekah serve at Reach Church in Sand Springs. John-Marc is their Worship Pastor and assists with all things media. Rebekah is the director of their mother’s day out program and preaches when needed.
Pastor Glenn, as Vice President and Senior Pastor, is now active in the community serving also as a Hospice and Duncan Regional Hospital Chaplain and delivering the Good news to hurting people. He has a heart for the Word of God, teaching the Word in a powerful and practical way, and allowing the gifts of the Spirit to flow. Pastor Bonita, as President and Senior Pastor, still remains the visionary for Rivers of Life Family Church International Ministries, Inc. and her heart’s desire is for the wholeness of all people, spirit, soul and body, by the working of the Holy Spirit and the gifts of the Spirit. They both have a love for all nations and frequently travel to speak, as the Holy Spirit leads.
